Review and Specification Honda HR-V Turbo

Honda HR-V Sport 2019 turbo engine began to be marketed. Don't be happy first, the turbo engine is not for the Indonesian market, but for Europe. This mechanical heart with forced induction, becomes the mainstay of Sport trim, as well as some refreshments for 2019.
The Sport variant of the Honda HR-V is not just a change of appearance. Turbo is proof to bring a sporty sensation. Hear 1.5 turbo, directly on the CR-V Turbo and Civic Turbo engines. Not yet known for sure, the possibility of the same unit, only the output is distinguished. Power is generated for the HR-V Turbo, 182 PS (180 hp) and 240 Nm of torque. While the local CR-V, slightly larger with 190 PS power and the same torque of 240 Nm. The Civic Turbo is even smaller with 173 PS and 220 Nm.

The most important element in creating fun is driving, a 6-speed manual transmission. The best choice if you want to feel the thrill of turbo boost in manual sensation. The CVT option is clear, but the torque is slightly lowered to 220 Nm. The power is quite large and embedded in the body of a compact SUV, which definitely has a big impact on acceleration. The acceleration claim is 0-100 km / h for manual as fast as 7.8 seconds with a top speed of 215 km / hr. If you select CVT, the number drops to 8.6 seconds and 200 km / hour. Obviously, you must choose the manual.

The suspension is not left standard. Honda unleashed it with the "Performance Damper" technology, which is able to keep the body flat when fast cornering. Vibration when meeting rough roads also decreases. To be even more agile, electronic power steering is also reset.

In Europe, besides the turbo, there are also other options available: naturally aspirated (N / A) gasoline 1.5-liter with 130 PS (128 hp) and 1.6-liter 120 PS turbo diesel. The specs are different from the HR-V circulating in the country. The power for the 1.5-liter engine is slightly smaller (120 PS and 145 Nm), and there is a 1.8-liter Prestige variant (139 PS and 169 Nm) which is far behind the turbo engine. Both are paired with CVT as standard, while the 6-speed manual is only available in the cheapest HR-V 1.5.
