The Japanese automotive company, Honda officially launched the XN-V concept car, at the Shanghai Auto event, China, Tuesday April 16 2019. Performing first, the concept car was designed by Honda Motor China Technology Co., Ltd. with Dongfeng Honda.
As an environmentally friendly vehicle, Honda claims its latest car is ready to be produced specifically in the Chinese market in the second half of this year.
Not only that, the company bearing the letter 'H' also launched another environmentally friendly car, the Honda Odyssey Hybrid. Ready to be produced by GAC Honda, the Honda Odyssey Hybrid will soon be marketed in China at the end of April 2019.
Visitors to the Honda booth at the exhibition can also experience using the second generation Honda CONNECT, an application that can provide information on the location of the nearest gas station, book service in the workshop and check periodic service track records.
Last year, Honda announced its vision of electric cars in China, launching more than 20 electric car models until 2025.
Based on this vision, last year GAC Honda has introduced electric cars specifically for the Chinese automotive market through the Everus VE-1 and has plans to introduce a plug-in hybrid model from 2020.
In addition to the range of car products, last year Honda also introduced Honda V-GO motorcycles and Transcooter electric scooters.
