AMSTERDAM - A Ford Puma, an SUV-inspired crossover, exhibited by Ford Motor Company. By the end of 2019 Ford Puma will be marketed.
Ford will supply cars to be produced in Romania with flexibility, the widest luggage capacity in its class and 48-volt mild-hybrid powertrain technology. The trunk is 456 liters to store 2 golf bags at once in a vertical position.
The Ford EcoBoost Hybrid technology will optimize the efficiency of Puma's fuel oil (BBM) and offer strong responsive performance, up to 155 PS. A belt-driven integrated starter / generator (BISG) or integrated belt-driven starter / generator (BISG) allows the recovery and storage of energy which is usually lost during braking and glides to charge a 48-volt lithium-ion battery.
BISG also acts as a motor and uses stored energy to offer torque replacement. This will reduce the work of the 1.0-liter three-cylinder EcoBoost gasoline engine.
"Innovatively and stylishly engineered, we think Puma will truly resonate with small car customers in Europe. If you want a car that can turn heads on Friday nights, and swallow your flat-pack furniture easily on Saturday afternoons, then you've found it, "said Stuart Rowley, President, Ford Europe.
